Marvelous. Truly, incredibly fantastic.

Gregums the Grubber snickers quietly and gives himself a pat on the back, crouched over the hole in the ceiling. His dark hair partially covers his eyes which glint with promise of a hopeful future. He is going to make himself a rich imp, and he is going to impress the imp ladies. All he needs is for this depressive bunch to bump heads a little.

He thinks back to the time his siblings used to kick him around for being small, teasing him mercilessly. Well, what are they to him now? They are stuck in the tedium of their lives, just scrounging to get by, while here he is on a journey to change everything. Sure, the others in the room below will probably hate him for all eternity, but if it allows him to achieve his happily-ever-after – a farm, a beautiful girl, maybe a cow or three, and some corn fields – then it is all worth it.

The hunger in her stomach burned like an endless fire. Lilee walked along the glen, desperately eyeing every possible type of foliage in hopes of something edible. In all her years as Mr. Micha”s pupil, she really was starting to regret not learning proper hunting techniques.

Lilee puts down her wooden spoon from the pot she is mixing and pouts her lip. “What do I need a bow and arrow for when I can just pierce anything that comes my way with my sword?” Like a flash of light, she glides to the opposite side of the room, grabs her sword and leaps on the tabletop. “Let the animals come to me! Ha!” She grasps the hilt and thrusts her weapon into the air. “I”ll eat them all! Rawr Rawr!”

Now, in this intolerable state of misery, she continues to stagger through the dirt, with each step becoming heavier than the next.

The only thing she feels next is the dirt of the crumbling earth beneath her. Her eyelids move and shut on their own. All goes black.

Prebday giftsh

Denisey, I was looking through some of my old arts and I found an old picture I did of Belldandy in like 2006 lol. Since you were so eager to proclaim your love for her when you drunkenly visited, I thought I”d put this up for you.

Everything but the peach background is colored and drawn by hand. I NEVER show my art to anyone. I”m super embarrassed about it, so you can see this as a bday gift lol.

“The river. It flows through my mind as it does my fingers. The water beneath my thoughts. The current directs my mind to memories without my control. River of time, river of life, guide my memory to that dark moment.”

Venkat Darkrider sits on the summit of a small mountain. The first snow of the year falls lazily around him. The remnants of an Elven temple surround him and partly shield his lithe body from the freezing gusts. None of this aware to him, however. He is deep within the type of concentration Half-Elves call “Mindkeep”. The detective takes a small breath and continues. His rags continue to be covered in a thin later of frost.
